At Nalu Homes our ethos is simple: to deliver sustainable, high-quality, net-zero carbon smart homes that enhance communities.
Our homes are built for everyone, from families and first-time buyers to retirees. We have created a construction system and methodology that enables us to deliver net-zero carbon smart homes on developments which are carefully designed to enhance the local environment.
Our sustainable timber-framed homes are developed using the latest eco-friendly housing technology. The high-quality, closed-panel systems we use are designed to provide extremely high energy efficiency, keeping heating bills to a minimum.
As well as including solar and battery storage, we fit fast and efficient electric vehicle charging points to many of our properties, making it easy for home owners to drive electric for a truly net-zero carbon lifestyle.
As a socially responsible company, we carefully consider the impact that each of our developments will have on the local area. We also work closely with social housing providers to ensure that we provide as many affordable, high-quality homes as is feasible.
Nalu Homes supports local sports clubs, educational charities and the arts – as firm believers that these organisations bring real change, support and opportunities to the local communities they serve.
Jamie’s long-held interests in sustainability and property provide the foundation to run and grow Nalu Homes. His goal is to accelerate the uptake of net-zero-carbon housing in the UK. He believes that people shouldn’t have to pay a premium to live in homes that set new standards in energy efficiency.
As well as running Nalu Homes, he is chairman of Lisarb Energy, one of Brazil’s fastest growing solar developers, with operations in Brazil, Portugal, and the UK.
Jamie lives in North Devon with his wife and three daughters. Jamie serves as a school Governor at Bishops Tawton Primary School and The Park Community School. He is a keen kite surfer, surfer and member of the local tennis club.
